Getting to Know our new Designer Collection: Edun

I am thrilled to introduce a new designer collection to McMullen. EDUN is a global fashion brand founded by Ali Hewson and Bono, in 2005, to promote trade in Africa by sourcing production throughout the continent.  Daniel Sherman was named the Creative Director in 2013.
Prior to joining EDUN, Danielle cofounded The Row with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and was Design Director for Men's and Women's T by Alexander Wang.

EDUN is building long-term, sustainable growth opportunities by supporting manufacturers, infrastructure and community building initiatives in Africa. They are actively working toward increasing trade throughout the continent with our apparel and accessories business. Currently, they are manufacturing 95% of the collection in Africa.

EDUN is committed to maintaining long-term partnerships with vendors that create beautiful quality garments made with integrity and care.

McMullen in San Francisco Chronicle! Piedmont shop owner Sherri McMullen eyes fresh looks from runways

Sherri McMullen is honored and thrilled to be featured in San Francisco Chronicle Style Section today discussing the Spring 2015 collections from New York and London Fashion Weeks!  

 Tanya Taylor is “a designer to know,” says McMullen. The CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund finalist — whose designs were recently worn by First Lady Michelle Obama — takes her label to a new level for spring. “Bold color was key,” says McMullen, who’s carried Tanya Taylor’s line in her shop for the past two seasons.
