Getting to Know our Designers :: Nellie Partow

After graduating with a degree in business at San Francisco State University, Nellie Partow moved to New York to try fashion design. While still studying at Parson's, Partow was given a great opportunity work for Donna Karan, and then Calvin Klein and John Varvatos upon graduation. These experiences exposed her to the inner workings of the fashion industry and inspired her to start her own line.
Partow's designs capture the essence of elegant minimalism. Clean lines and neutral color palettes with strikes of color grace her runways, reflecting an effortless femininity and allure.
Without defining her customer as one type of woman, Partow hopes that any woman who wears one of her designs feels beautiful.
Her current Spring 2013 collection was inspired by desert landscapes at sunrise and sunset. Fiery cherry red offers a beautiful and bold contrast to sand white and beige, capturing the the natural hues and textures of the Arizona desert.
Partow's chic and minimal designs are the epitome of timeless, functional, and, most importantly, wearable fashion.

Nellie finds the most beautiful fabrics and always produces her garments in the US.  She stays true to that business practice.  We love that!
