Getting to Know Our Designers :: Clover Canyon

L.A based  label Clover Canyon, epitomizes the adventurous spirit of California with its bold, bright prints, and effortless style. 

Head designer Rozae Nichols uses her many travels across America and Europe as the inspiration for her prints, which include everything from abstract low riders to the grand canyon to Russian china.

Pair these beautiful and eye catching prints with super soft neoprene fabrication, and you have the ultimate in chic, California style. Clover Canyon keeps their silhouettes simple, relying on clean lines and great fit to showcase the prints. 

All pieces are designed, cut, and sewn in house in Los Angeles, making them a true California label. 

Clover Canyon describes their style as "jubilant", fresh and happy, creating a high fashion look with just the right amount of originality and quirk. Their pieces become a piece of art, an adventure for the viewer, and bring humor and inspire the imagination for the wearer.

Clover Canyon's Fall 2013 collection looks at Russian landscapes and architecture for inspiration. Traditional Russian china, the snowy winter landscape, and even the Kremlin make an appearance. Look for pieces from their fall in-store and see below for more shopping details.

is fear. Fear of failing, fear of losing, fear of not making it on the first try. While these are all rational thoughts, rather than letting fear shut you down, allow it to become a driving force 

to help you accomplish your dreams. Winning wouldn't be fun if it came easy, and lessons are less easily learned when you get something right the first time. Fear is a reality but it doesnt have to be the only reality.  Find your courage and face the unknown with an open heart and mind. You will accomplish more than you think.

Jenni Kayne Pre-Fall Collection

California based designer Jenni Kayne brought her signature West Coast cool 

to her Pre-Fall 2013 collection with a relaxed, tailored feel mixed with a casual femininity, and bold print. Sophisticated, yet with a tomboy edge, Kayne's Pre-Fall collection was inspired by quirky 90's fashion, and is reminiscent of fashion icons such as Cher Horowitz from the movie "Clueless". 

Silhouettes include oversized office-appropriate blazers and coats, ultra cool cigarette style trousers, and a sexy, sleek bias cut gown. Kayne's use of bright coral and sky blue perfectly represents the changing of the seasons, and the splash of leopard print carries the collection into fall while adding an element of savoir faire. Kayne's signature d'orsay flat completes the collection as a final stamp of relaxed refinement.
